Pete Martinez & Luis Pintado at University of Miami Conference on December 4-5, 2017 The University of Miami Center for Computational Science (UMCCS) 2nd Annual Big Data Conference and Workshop, December 4-5, 2017 has invited SIVOTEC's Pete Martinez and Luis Pintado to participate as panel moderator and workshop facilitator respectively, during this 2-day event targeting private- and public-sector healthcare providers, policy makers, entrepreneurs, educators, and researchers.
Martinez will moderate a distinguished panel discussion on the first day of the conference, "Enabling Big Data and Analytics in Your Organization" with panelists including Jeff Hutchins of Coca-Cola, Luis Gidel of Baptist Health South Florida, Matthew Pape of Ryder, Sol Rashidi of Royal Caribbean and Nadine Davey-Rogers of MasterCard. Luis Pintado will co-facilitate an interactive workshop on the second day entitled, "Business, Strategy, and Data Analytics," alongside Joseph Johnson, PhD of the University of Miami School of Business Administration. Attendees will delve deeper into learning how to enable data science in their organizations. Pintado remarked, "Empowering organizations to effectively capture, aggregate, analyze, and quite frankly, capitalize on their data is vital to not only staying competitive in the market, but to creating an edge. When properly architected and organized, captured data provides increasingly valuable insight. Organizations must continue to evolve with the changing needs of their customers. This is our passion, and we couldn't be happier to participate in this dialogue and to help companies on the path to turning their data into knowledge." To register or learn more, click here.
