Pete Martinez, SIVOTEC President & CEO, served as the keynote presenter at the International Women’s Entrepreneurial Challenge (IWEC) Conference held at the Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, Washington on November 13th. “It was tremendously inspiring to see the collective spirit of the attendees encouraging and empowering one another. These powerhouse entrepreneurs are at the top of their game, and a testament to their success is their desire to continue to embrace new knowledge to make their company, their employees, and their communities better.” Martinez’s keynote address “Smart Cities and the Internet of Things,” challenged the members of the audience to consider how they define their ‘optimal performance.’ Carmen Castillo, President & CEO of SDI International Corp and a driving force behind the conference, remarked “Pete delivered a highly engaging and innovative presentation. Our attendees came away considerably motivated to evaluate how the data they generate can be utilized to embolden their competitive edge. Utilization of our data is a fascinating glimpse into the fast approaching future."
